Full Moon

Friends on my facebook should have noticed me shouting about "Full Moon" each month. Other than gushing about her beauty, Full Moon is a very important time, especially for performing Magic.

The Moon completes a full orbit around the Earth every 28 days.

The phases of the Moon are:

New Moon
Signifying a new beginning, the position of the moon means no light is reflected off the Sun, so it is not visible at all.

Waxing Moon
The Moon gets bigger in the sky, a narrow crescent growing from right to left)

Full Moon
The Full Moon appears 14 to 15 days after the New Moon and appears as a glorious glowing white circle in the night sky. This phase reflects the maximum amount of light from the Sun.

Waning Moon
The Full Moon is decreasing in size, moving back towards the New Moon, gradually changing to a decreasing crescent from right to left)
The moon is extremely powerful, and we've all heard about how it affects the weather, tides, influences earthquakes.

It is also the prime time for rituals and magic. Happening 14 to 17.5 days after the new moon, it's the perfect time for healing rituals, protection spells, planning, releasing and finishing off projects.

Full Moon energy is also used for banishing unwanted influences in your life; protection magick; and divination.

It is said that the best Full Moon magick can be conjured for 7 days: the 3 days prior to the Full Moon, the night of the Full Moon itself, and three days after the Full Moon. Sometimes the results of Full Moon magick can take aproximately one moon cycle to take hold and come to completion.

Candles

Candles are an important part in performing magic. Often, the flame of the candles can give us messages. Recently, i was performing a magick for a customer (let's call her A) to banish any anger and negativities in the relationship, and to rekindle the love and passion between them. Before the magick, I've done a reading for her, and the Angels encourage her to move on, and look for a new love. A wants to give this relationship another shot, and wants to have a love magick performed.

It was a 3-part magick:

1) release negativities, bad feelings, anger

2) may the relationship start anew, and on a fresh note

3) blessings on the relationship, and may love and passion rekindle

There was huge resistance in the magick, from the guy. 1st part of the magick, the candle representing the guy refuses to lit, and when it finally does, it went off within a short while. There's probably too much resistance from the guy, too much negativities that needs to be cleared still, or the time is simply not right yet.

On the 3rd part of the magick, again, the candle representing the guy went off in a short while. Again, this shows resistance from the guy, that he's simply not ready to carry on with the relationship.

When a candle flame went off in the middle of a magick, it happens for a reason, and we do not re-lit it. I hope A will give a man who deserves her love soon. :)

Angel Magic - House Hunt

My very first magic, was performed for myself. Yes, I'm my own guinea pig.

My husband and I were (rather desperately) looking for a flat for our matrimony. We've been balloting* for one for many years (we started balloting from around 2005? just to give you an idea how long it took), and tried balloting countless of times. Even the pirority scheme (first timer, near parents) didn't help a bit. We tried looking for resells as well, but it just aint right. either the fengshui is really bad or haunted, the price or vibes is not right, or we just don't like it.

One day, Lady Shaura nudged me and told me it's the Full Moon - perfect time for spells and magic.At that time, I just started exploring Angel Magic, so I decided "Alright. Let's do a magic to help me with my house hunt!" must put what i learn into practice. It also happened that there's a BTO opening that week.

and...Viola! We managed to get a queue number that allows us to go and choose our flat! First time ever, after all these years! It's like striking lottery! Imagine our delight. I mean, well, as I always say, you can say this i pure coincidence. But i definitely do not mind having more of such happy coincidences in my life. Imagine trying for so many years, and straight after the magic, i got my flat!

sure, it's not ideal or "dream flat" quality. but what i asked for in the magic was purely "give us a flat! a place we can start our little family!" and we got it!

so yeap, that's my very first Angel magic. :)

* For the benefit of foreign readers, here's an explanation of the housing scheme in Singapore. Most of us stays in public housing, also known as HDB flats. There's forever a high demand in flats, so the government introduced a balloting scheme (said to help first timers get their house easier). If you're a first timer, you get more chances, and if the place you are balloting is near your parents, even more chances. BTOs are build-to-order flats, meaning the government plans to build these flats in certain areas, and more than X number of people buys the flat (which always do), then they will build it. Housing in Singapore is very expensive, and headache business.
